Two-tone with the only good Mazda color. THE ONLY ONE. Time to go special-order one of these with a manual...
Does !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! have to be an automatic?

Because life is unfair.

Because it was ordered this way.

Because some people have never felt joy ...

DAS SMURF!

I didn’t know the ND is available in this color.

I think the dealership caved in and let someone do a special order. Which means Mazda might be reasonable enough to do more special orders...

Quickly! Let’s all go to our local Mazda dealers and order more! Manual this time though.

Wait wat, when did blue and two-tone become an option for ND Miatas?
Edit: Oh, it’s a wrap.

Look at the list exterior color and the first interior picture (taken from the passenger side), you’ll spot the factory black paint on the left of the picture, around the door latch striker.

I realize that there isn’t a base model RF, like on the convertible, but it seems kind of silly allowing an automatic on a Club model. Auto on a base? OK. Auto on Grand Touring? Sure - that’s not the enthusiast model. But the Club? Well, OK, I realize that there are some enthusiasts that have to drive an auto, like my mother, but it seems a little odd.
And on my Mazda5 I had to give up the toys if I wanted the manual, something that I had to have. No such problem in Canada or the UK or anywhere else, just the US...

So people like me can dream! Want.

How hard could a manual swap be?
*ducks*

So it was originally black and the dealership did a custom paint job?
![]() 10/13/2017 at 21:59 |

It’s probably a vinyl wrap.

Smh I should’ve realized it. Seems like a lot of work for a dealership to go through. I couldn’t find any miles on the car not sure if it’s new or not.

Because hairdressers don’t drive manuals.
Runs away

I was thinking it must be a wrap, but the OP was talking like this was an actual Mazda color.

The wrap appears to be the same color as the NA Mariner Blue but, yes, I was thinking the same as you about Mazda actually offering that blue as a special order paint for NDs.
